Sheriff Bill Leeper Urges Teen Drivers to Stay Safe During ‘100 Deadliest Days of Summer’

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — As families across Northeast Florida enjoy summer vacations, beach trips, and time away from school, Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper is reminding young drivers that summer is also the most dangerous time of the year to be on the road.

Sheriff Leeper joined The Morning Show on News4Jax this week to discuss the “100 Deadliest Days of Summer,” the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day when teen drivers face the highest risk of being involved in serious or fatal crashes.
