JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is dead after a shooting police say stemmed from a fight during 4th of July festivities near Jacksonville’s Oceanway neighborhood.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to the 3600 block of New Berlin Road at approximatively 7:27 p.m. Saturday night in reference to a reported shooting. They found a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
Witnesses performed CPR on the man until crews with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department arrived on the scene. When JFRD arrived, the man was pronounced deceased…
