Severe Thunderstorms, Heavy Rainfall For North Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms today across parts of North Florida.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville forecasts an Isolated Severe Thunderstorm risk this afternoon into early evening, with increasing tropical moisture from a developing low pressure system in the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
