JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man was arrested early July 19 after an off‑duty officer told investigators a driver pointed a firearm and shone a blue laser into his vehicle during a road‑rage incident, according to an arrest report from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives using license‑plate readers identified a gray 2018 Honda Civic with a North Carolina tag and stopped the car inside a downtown parking garage, where officers conducted a felony takedown and arrested the driver and a passenger, the report said.
