JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a truck Wednesday morning near McCormick Road and Kernan Boulevard North, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Robert Hungerford said at around 7 a.m., an elderly bicyclist wearing a helmet made a left turn to go westbound on McCormick and at the same time, a car was heading west on the same road and struck the man.
