Months after Sheriff T.K. Waters announced that a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office employee had been claiming overtime pay while he was actually having a romantic relationship with his supervisor, News4JAX has now learned what happened to the supervisor.
The relationship came to light when Officer Christian Madsen was arrested in February on felony charges tied to alleged false overtime claims, totalling more than $14,000.
Waters acknowledged when he announced the arrest that during at least some of those claims, Madsen was actually at the home of his supervisor, Chief of Patrol Support Jaime Eason, and the two had a romantic relationship…
