The Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF) 5th Annual A Night in the Vineyard, presented by The Shee Family in partnership with SoNapa Grille and Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), raised a record $283,000 for the Foundation. Guests enjoyed live musical entertainment, live and silent auctions, gourmet cuisine by SoNapa Grille, curated wine pairings by RNDC, and superb company – all in support of MBF’s mission to keep children and teens safe.
“Thank you to everyone who supported A Night in the Vineyard. It is incredibly moving to witness our community come together for a shared purpose and mission – to protect children by empowering them with the knowledge and strategies they need to stay safe,” said Edward Burr, MBF Founder and Board Chairman. “We are truly thankful for the generosity of this community. Over the past 29 years, driven by Monique’s spirit, MBF has reached a record 22 million students – but there is still more work to do. Our mission continues to grow, thanks to the support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, who are contributing to a brighter future where children can be children.”
The event commemorates Child Abuse Prevention Month and all proceeds from A Night at the Vineyard directly support MBF and its Prevention Education Programs – comprehensive, evidence-based personal safety curricula that educate and empower children and teens to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to child abuse, bullying, online dangers, human trafficking, and other forms of child victimization…
