It is a modest but notable rebound for the brand, which currently operates only its Nocatee Town Center location after shuttering multiple spots across Duval County in recent years.
Lease, Footprint And Where It Will Sit
Developer Chet Skinner said the restaurant has signed a lease for about 3,300 square feet in the Publix-anchored center north of SilverLeaf Parkway, and the buildout is set to include a full bar and outdoor seating, according to Jax Daily Record. St. Johns County had not issued the restaurant’s build-out permit at the time of reporting.
Bigger Space, Play Area And An Expanded Shake Station
Coverage by the Jacksonville Business Journal, reported by WhatNow, says the SilverLeaf shop will be roughly 1,000 square feet larger than M Shack’s Nocatee location and will feature a children’s play area plus an expanded shake station. The same report notes that the company is aiming for a fall opening, although M Shack’s leadership did not immediately respond to interview requests.
Menu And Why The Shake Bar Matters
The chain’s Nocatee menu leans into all-natural beef smash burgers such as the M Smash and the Sunrise Burger, alongside patty melts, hand-cut fries and a lineup of milkshakes that includes the brand’s signature spiked versions. The restaurant’s site highlights boozy shake flavors like the Original M Shake, PB Spike Delight and Cheesecake Cheers, per M Shack.
