A1A Cidery Sold, Local Favorite Expands Into New Restaurant Space

A major shift is under way in Fernandina Beach as A1A Cidery, a popular craft cidery believed to be the first of its kind in the Jacksonville area when it opened nearly three years ago, has officially been sold — signaling both a transition and new opportunity for a local business.

The team behind A1A Cidery, led by founder Roger Morenc, recently announced the sale of its taproom, which opened in January 2024.
