Wild Amelia Nature Festival Features 10 Days of Fun

The 2026 Wild Amelia Nature Festival, held Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 17 offers a variety of fun events introducing visitors to Nassau County’s diverse local ecosystems, the creatures that inhabit them, and the vital and urgent need to preserve them.

Beginning Friday, May 8, with a sunset river cruise fundraiser, enjoy 10 fun-filled days oflive music,ecotours, Wild Storytime events for kids and adults,and Downtown to Dunes community cleanup on Saturday, May 9.The Last Castle, a sand sculpture event with professional sand carvers, will raise awareness for sea turtle nesting season held May 13-16. A Nature Photography Celebration will be held at Fort Clinch Visitors Center on May 15.
