Incumbent Stephanie McGowan and Susan Quatrone, a former aide to Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-Paterson), have won the Democratic nomination for borough council in Rutherford, beating Jarrod Schaeffer, a former federal prosecutor.
McGowan leads with 1,204 votes, followed by Quatrone with 834 votes. Schaeffer finished third with 771 votes.
