Ashe-Nadrowski taps Andrew Casais, a former Davis chief of staff, as Bayonne BA

Bayonne Mayor-elect Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski has tapped Andrew Casais, a former chief of staff for Mayor Jimmy Davis, as the Peninsula City’s business administrator.

“As we work to assemble the city’s new administration, our goal is to answer the overwhelming call for increased efficiency, fiscal responsibility, accountability, and a holistic and fundamental change to the way local government operates here in Bayonne,” Ashe-Nadrowski said in a statement.

“Andrew is exactly the kind of leader to help us build a government that seeks solutions and actually works for the people of Bayonne – He knows Bayonne, and I truly look forward to welcoming him back.”

Casais was the chief of staff to Davis between July 2014 and March 2017, when he left to become the municipal clerk, assessment search officer, and municipal housing liaison in Roselle Park, as HCV first reported, getting promoted to business administrator in 2019…
