Father charged in death of infant in New Jersey arrested by U.S. Marshals in Pennsylvania

MOUNT CARMEL, NORTHUMBERLAND CO. (WOLF) — A father charged by New Jersey authorities for the death of his infant son was seized by United States Marshals in Pennsylvania.

Jason Megaro, 27, was taken into custody in Mount Carmel on Tuesday, August 11, after a grand jury indicted Megaro and 20-year-old Jenae Vasquez of the Bronx, New York, for the death of their two-month-old infant son.

According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey, on March 25 of this year, the Bayonne Police Department was notified of an injured two-month-old male at Bayonne Medical Center. The infant was taken to University Hospital in Newark and pronounced deceased the next day…
