The West New York Board of Education (BOE) approved a retroactive five-year contract for Superintendent of Schools Clara Brito Herrera in August that tops out at $394,507 and the district didn’t release it until after counsel sent an email on HCV’s behalf.
The West New York Board of Education (BOE) approved the new contract on August 26th by a vote of 5-0(2), with President Jonathan Castaneda, Vice President Jose Mendoza, as well as Trustees Damarys Gonzalez, Stephanie Gonzalez, Sandra Pfiel, Ana Sanchez, and Doug Velasquez voting.
