Waterfront Brasserie Opening Next Month in North Jersey

A major new waterfront dining destination is preparing to debut along the Hudson River next month.

West & Co., a waterfront brasserie, is slated to open this spring at 45 Riverwalk Place in West New York, taking over a long-vacant end-cap space with sweeping, panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline.

The project comes from restaurateur Jeremy Casilli, known for operating several high-profile waterfront restaurants across New York and New Jersey, alongside NYC real estate principal Michael Besen. The address itself has been something of a legend in hospitality circles, sitting vacant for more than two decades due to extended litigation before finally being activated for redevelopment.

West & Co. is described as a classic American brasserie reimagined through an Art Deco lens. The 250-seat restaurant will feature warm white oak millwork, sculptural design elements, curved banquettes, expansive waterfront-facing windows, a 1920s-inspired “liquor candy shop” bar, and a glass-enclosed private wine room.
