At its May meeting Thursday night, the Jersey City Board of Education voted to approve 55 transfers of Jersey City Public Schools teachers, many from non-classroom to classroom roles. It also voted to renew its contracts with nearly three dozen vendors for next school year and heard a year-end report from the Jersey City Public Schools’ City Wide Student Council.
