Nearly one month later, condemned Wildwood Off Main tenants still face uncertain future

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — It’s been one week since second-floor tenants at the Wildwood Off Main apartment complex were told to leave their homes after engineers found safety issues, leaving some residents without a place to go, and others staying in hotels.

The Kalamazoo Area Building Authority (KABA) condemned the complex in early May, and apartment managers last week told second-floor tenants to vacate.
