BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — The Battle Creek Police Department is warning residents of ongoing phone scams from crooks pretending to be from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office to get your money.
The department says it is investigating multiple complaints that have resulted in more than $20,000 in losses.
