Citywide brush collection in Sturgis begins July 6

Three weeks after a storm socked St. Joseph County, work continues to clear trees and limbs in Sturgis.

Beginning July 6, city crews will begin an organized brush pickup throughout the city.

Collection will take place in quadrants, roughly in this order:

• North of U.S. 12, east of North Nottawa Street.

• North of U.S. 12, west of North Nottawa.

• South of U.S. 12, east of South Nottawa Street.

• South of U.S. 12, west of South Nottawa.

Residents, especially those in the U.S. 12/east of Nottawa section, should plan to have brush place on the terrace area prior to July 6…
