BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Water will be shut off to a portion of Battle Creek Sunday while crews work to repair a water main break.
Water will be shut off to homes and businesses on Michigan Avenue W from Gould Street to United Way and Gould Street from Michigan Avenue W to Van Buren Street W. until about 4 p.m. Sunday, officials say.
Crews are working to isolate and repair the break, flush the system and ultimately restore pressure. When water service is returned, customers may experience low pressure or discolored water. Officials recommend running cold water until it clears at which point it should be safe for consumption…
