Families raising children with sensory sensitivities can visit a designated sensory-friendly space at the W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary in Augusta through Aug. 28, with activities available during morning hours inside the Sanctuary’s Overlook Building.
The program is being offered from 9 to 10:30 a.m., according to a community announcement. The Overlook Building sits along the Sanctuary’s accessible three-quarter-mile Paved Path and will be reserved for families that include members with sensory sensitivity during those designated times.
