KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Two Kalamazoo teens are under arrest after police say they found them in possession of stolen guns.
Members of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety’s Crime Reduction Team were patrolling Lilac Lane between Forest Hills Lane and Tray Lane when they spotted a 15-year-old boy “demonstrating characteristics of being armed with a firearm,” they said in a release. He and a 14-year-old climbed into the backseat of a car and drove off.
Officers then stopped the car, searched the boys and discovered that each was carrying concealed weapons in their waistbands. A search showed that both guns had been reported stolen from unlocked vehicles in the city of Kalamazoo, KDPS said…
