LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Several community colleges throughout Michigan were ranked among the best in the nation, according to a WalletHub report.
WalletHub compared a sample of 613 schools from the American Association of Community Colleges across three key categories: cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes.
Two of Michigan’s community colleges ranked in the top 20 of the surveyed schools. Gogebic Community College, located in Ironwood, was ranked 6th. It ranked 46th in cost and financing, 47th in education outcomes and 217th in career outcomes. Kellogg Community College, located in Battle Creek, placed 17th.
