PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A controversial petition initiative being pressed by a mysterious organization in Kalamazoo, will also appear on the ballot in Portage this November.
It proposes to alter their city charter to create a health advisory committee.
They are among a number of communities, including Battle Creek, Lansing, Benton Harbor, East Lansing and others where the group, called Community action Michigan has tried to use petitions to get on the ballot, only vaguely outlining their goals…
