Battle Creek Police arrested a 76-year-old man on felony assault and weapons charges following an early morning incident in the 70 block of Grand Boulevard.
Officers with the Battle Creek Police Department and LifeCare Ambulance responded to the area for a report of a man with a gun just before 2 a.m. Aug. 13.
Officers made contact with a 56-year-old woman who reported an argument with a man known to her. During the incident, the woman fled the residence.
