Comstock Twp. resident temporarily appointed to board after 4 members resign

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — A Comstock Township resident will temporarily serve on the township board to allow city leaders to fill vacant positions left by four board members who all resigned within days of each other.

Resident Bill Korb was appointed to the board Tuesday by the Kalamazoo County Election Commission, which restores the board to the four-member minimum needed to conduct business.

The remaining members of the board will now work to fill the vacancies left by Trustee Robert Pratt, Clerk Nicole Beauchamp, Trustee Kristie Cherry and Trustee Terry McIver…
