YANKEE SPRINGS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A teenager who drowned in Gun Lake has been identified by family as Kaden Smith, 16, a student at Portage Northern High School.
On Aug. 12, Smith was visiting Gun Lake for some family fun before tragedy struck.
Witnesses say Smith went under the water, but did not re-emerge.
