BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Charges are not expected to be filed in a crash that killed a toddler and left three people seriously hurt in Battle Creek, according to Calhoun County’s prosecutor.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at the intersection of Capital Avenue and E. Burnham Street. The Battle Creek Police Department says the four pedestrians — a 30-year-old woman and three girls ages 1, 5 and 9 — were crossing Capital from west to east when they were hit by a northbound Kia.
