Battle Creek police chief set to retire this year, department says

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — The chief of the Battle Creek Police Department is retiring at the end of this year, the department says.

Chief Shannon Bagley’s retirement has been part of his “long term plans,” according to a spokesperson for the department, who said Bagley “has decided the time is right to conclude his career in public service.”
