MANISTEE COUNTY — A southwest Michigan man is facing up to life in prison for charges of criminal sexual conduct against a child.
Jerome Leslie Rader Jr., 48, of Gobles, is charged with the following:
- First-degree criminal sexual conduct against a person under 13 — punishable by up to life or any term of years; and
- Second-degree criminal sexual conduct against a person under 13 — punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Criminal sexual conduct charges range from first degree being the most serious, to fourth degree as the least severe.
