SMITHVILLE, Mo. (KCTV) – Forensic experts have identified the skeletal remains of a man found last year as those of a Smithville man who was last seen in early 2022.
The Smithville Police Department announced Tuesday that Ryan Weeks, a Smithville man who was last seen in February 2022, was identified by a forensic examiner and a team of anthropologists. His skeletal remains were found after investigators got new information in August 2025.
