MoDOT encourages truck drivers to avoid routes through Kansas City during World Cup to ease congestion

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Missouri Department of Transportation is asking drivers to plan for World Cup traffic and encouraging freight truck drivers to take alternate routes around Kansas City.

MoDOT says traffic may be elevated throughout Missouri as visitors move between cities and event sites, and adjusting travel patterns can help reduce delays.
