School districts sue Jackson County, Executive over $25M in withheld tax revenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Two Jackson County school districts are suing the county and its top executive over tens of millions in allegedly withheld tax revenue.

Jackson County Circuit Court records show that the Independence School District and Fort Osage R-I School District filed the petition on Tuesday, June 16.
