Kansas City nonprofit feeds 300 homeless weekly without missing a week in 8 years

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Every Tuesday night, a group of volunteers loads up a food truck and heads to Washington Square Park. They have never missed a week in eight years.

The work starts well before sunset. A church kitchen in Kansas City comes to life as volunteers chop, stir, seal containers and sort donated coats.
