LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (KCTV) – A Kansas City, Kansas, man who fired multiple rounds at law enforcement officers during a pursuit in Leavenworth County has been sentenced to life in prison.
Andrew Amundsen, 33, was sentenced Friday to life in prison for attempted capital murder and 43 months for aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, according to court records. The sentences will run consecutively. He will not be eligible for parole for 620 months, a little more than 51 years.
