KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City firefighters had an exhausting day working to keep the city safe. The department said crews responded to four fires Tuesday as heat and humidity soared.
The first call can in around 11:30 a.m. Firefighters responded to a fire at a house near E. 34th and Woodland Ave. The department said crews quickly got the fire under control.
Less than an hour later the department responded to a fire near E. 11th and Ewing. Inspectors are in the process of determining the extent of the damage.
Around 2 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire that caused extensive damage to a home near E. 104th and Monroe. Crews extinguished the fire, but it had already left its mark…
