Make Music Day brings free live performances across Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City celebrated Father’s Day with live music across the city Sunday as part of Make Music Day, a global event marking the longest day of the year.

More than 93 artists performed at 32 venues across the metro, offering free performances in genres including jazz, country, pop and blues.

At City Market, local blues and rock band The Elles drew families who danced and listened to the music.
