The Independence Police Department is asking for the public’s help as officers investigate a vehicle-versus-pedestrian hit-and-run accident.
IPD is looking for a white, four-door Ford F-150 FX4 pickup, believed to be a 2018 to 2020 model. The truck is possibly a Lariat or Platinum edition with a chrome front bumper and a Power Stroke diesel engine. The vehicle may have minor front-end damage from the crash.
