KC couple has fought trafficking in Ghana for a decade. Now, their second home is visiting KC.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Ghana is in Kansas City for the World Cup. For one local couple, the visit means much more than a soccer tournament.

Robyn and Joe Neuerberg co-founded Isaac’s Dream. This Kansas City-based nonprofit has spent the last decade building schools, providing medical care, and giving children new beginnings in Ghana.

With Ghana’s national team now playing on the couple’s home turf, it’s a full-circle moment.

“That’s all everybody talks about — football, football, football,” Robyn said. “And that’s all the kids want to do is play football. So we’re so excited to have Ghana here.”
