Kansas City volunteers bring comfort to Southeast Missouri flood victims

LESTERVILLE, Mo. (KCTV) – A one-in-a-thousand-year flash flood tore through Southeast Missouri’s Black River float trip country over the weekend, washing away campgrounds, RVs, and roads. The big relief organizations are handling the necessities. Two Kansas City-area volunteers are focused on the little things that aren’t essential but make a big difference in difficult times.
