KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – In June, Lee’s Summit city leaders decided to end the Downtown Days festival after violence disrupted the event. Not more than two months later, another major event in the city announced it has put in place additional security measures.
Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest is set to be held from Sept. 25-27 within the Green Street festival grounds.
