Kansas City man faces multiple felony charges in Clay County

KANSAS CITY, Mo — A bond appearance hearing is at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in Clay County for a Kansas City man charged with first-degree burglary, stealing and second-degree domestic assault.

Bond is currently set at $75,000.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim contacted police early Sunday morning, reporting that their ex-boyfriend, Rosario N. Avalo-Bradley, 20, had assaulted them, stolen their cell phone and threatened to kill her and her unborn child. The incident occurred at one of the victim’s family members’ residences they were staying at to get away from Avalo-Bradley. Once officers arrived, they observed two large holes in the downstairs wall and damage to a door. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for multiple injuries…
