KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Families still dealing with the aftermath of severe storms that swept through the Kansas City area at the end of August received a helping hand Tuesday through a community outreach event hosted by Mercy and Truth Healthcare Ministry.
The organization’s monthly F.I.R.S.T Tuesday event brought together community partners to provide free groceries, health screenings, clothing, household items and hot meals for those in need.
