A Kansas City, Kansas, man was found guilty by a federal judge Sept. 14, 2026, of carjacking and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
Van Calvin Callahan Jr., 46, was convicted following a bench trial on the two charges, adding to guilty pleas he previously entered on three other federal charges stemming from the case.
