KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – All occupants escaped safely after a fire broke out in the attic of a Kansas City home.
The Kansas City Fire Department said crews responded to reports of a house fire near 36th and Chestnut Ave. just before 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20.
First responders indicated that they arrived to find heavy smoke and flames pouring from the attic of the single-story residence. Firefighters entered the home and launched an interior attack using multiple hoses.
Crews said they conducted searches of the structure, confirming all occupants had safely evacuated before their arrival. No injuries were reported…
