A pedestrian was killed after they were struck by a tractor-trailer driving on a Kansas City highway early Friday morning, police said.
Officers with the Kansas City Police Department responded just before 3:45 a.m. to Interstate 435 near NE 48th Street for a reported crash, according to a crash log.
