33-story apartment complex, hotel proposed in Crossroads takes additional steps forward

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A 33-story apartment complex is moving closer to breaking ground along I-35 across from the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, with a hotel also proposed next to it.

An 18-page packet submitted by developers to the city late last month outlines plans that would change the footprint of the pocket of the Crossroads. According to businesses in the area, the project is happening soon.

Longtime business owner affected
