KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, is receiving its first Safe Haven Baby Box to offer mothers in crisis a safe and anonymous means of surrendering a baby.
The city, in partnership with Safe Haven Baby Boxes, is set to host an opening ceremony for the box located at Kansas City Fire Department Station 14 at 8300 North Brighton Avenue.
