La Fetta’s story started with the infatuation of one sandwich.
When Adam Bracco and his wife, Kelly Bracco, devoured a sandwich named Sublime in Missoula, Montana, almost immediately the couple knew they had to find a way to bring this sandwich home — 1,500 miles away to Kansas City.
That was in 2023. Bracco would somehow convince the owner of the Montana deli, Matt Benzel, to bring his roster of rock-n-roll sandwiches to the KC suburbs in 2025. A year later, Bracco would do it again, this time with a second location in Prairie Village.
The second La Fetta Delicatessen, an Italian-inspired deli, quietly opened in the bustling Corinth Square shopping center in Prairie Village, conveniently where Bracco and his family live.
