Two local businesses in Kansas City will be opening in the West Bottoms.
SomeraRoad — the developer behind the ongoing, large-scale redevelopment of the West Bottoms area with rehabbed historic buildings and new construction, new apartments, more retail and added amenities — announced that French Custard and Blackbird Collection will be opening locations in the neighborhood next year, according to a news release.
Blackbird Collection, a fashion and interior design shop, will relocate from the Crossroads to the Moline building in the West Bottoms at 1015 Mulberry St. Blackbird, which opened three years ago, offers a curated selection of clothing, accessories, furniture, art and other objects while highlighting unique brands and women-founded labels…
